Our organization began hosting "Oceanic Literacy Day" events in 2025. These events typically consist of one of our staff members giving a storytime using books geared toward children aged 4 to 12, followed by a Question & Answer Session in which children & families in attendance ask our staff member any questions they may have about marine science & the ocean at large. We typically host these events in collaboration with local bookstores, schools, or literacy centers. We thank The Open Book, Topanga, for their continuous generosity in allowing us to host in their stores.
